Get tickets for the 2010 Green Concert in a 3-hour sale this Saturday

Peter Conlon and Piedmont Park announced today that the 2010 Green Concert will be headlined by none other than the Eagles.
Yep. It's going to be a 3 hour show. Tickets are $55 and the VIP spot will set you back $250. Tickets go on sale Sat., July 31 through Ticketmaster.
...don't expect to see the Dude hanging out there.

Here's to hoping there are more than 30 porta potties like there were @DMB in Piedmont Park. Na-stay. Yes, I counted.

actually....if the purpose of this festival is to make $$ to continue the expansion of the park then the eagles are a good choice. tickets will be close to $70 after ticketmaster costs and all the OTPers and SEC rednecks that live in Brookhaven will gladly throw that money down to sing those crummy songs for the 1200th time. probably listen to the eagles greatest hits cd on the way down
god I hate the eagles...
Why can't atlanta have a decent festival? And I'm not talking about ones with all local bands (albeit good ones) that we've seen so damn many times.
North Carolina is kicking our ass at the moment in cool festivals...NORTH CAROFUCKINGLINA!
