If you attended the free Big Boi show at the Yaarab Shrine temple back in May, you know that the man puts on one hell of a live performance. If you didn't attend, or even if you did and just want another chance to catch Daddy Fat Sax in concert, you're in luck: Big's got three Atlanta shows scheduled as part of a nationwide tour supporting the very excellent Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty.
The first is the weirdest: next Saturday, August, 28, you can catch Big supporting electro-jam collective STS9 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. If hordes of rich, white pseudo-hippies ain't your thing, head over to the Tabernacle exactly one month later, on September 28. To be fair, there will in all likelihood be a fair number of rich, white psuedo-hippies there, as well. What are you gonna do.
In between these two gigs, Big's planned a night at the Opera - he'll hit the Midtown nightclub on September 4. Really, you have no excuse not to go to one of these shows. Trust us, you'll be glad you did.
