The Charlatans U.K. are kicking off their U.S. tour tonight playing songs from their brand new CD, Who We Touch, and a whole lot more. For years these Manchester moptops merged the psychedelic Brit. pop stylings of the Happy Mondays and the Soup Dragons with a powerful organ-driven groove, but veered toward a more Sticky Fingers era of '60s rock.
The Charlatans headline over at The Loft with Sherlock's Daughter tonight. The show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are $22 at the door.
But if you happen to be in L5P beforehand you can catch a free warm up set on the stage at Criminal Records. Do it.
