On the Download Download the Glands' surprise Athens show

As already noted, Athens pop institution the Glands played a "surprise" set last night at the Flicker Theatre & Bar (they were billed as Funtime Freedom Singers). And now, thanks to the magic of the internet, not even 24 hours later, Southern Shelter has the audio. It's available to stream and download at that link.
In addition to some old favorites ("Straight Down," "Livin' Was Easy," "When I Laugh"), the band played a handful of new songs with working titles like "Elton John" and "ZZ Low." Words cannot express how happy I am that these guys are back in action. Go Glands!
