Arrested Development’s Baba Oj hospitalized

Spiritual adviser and eldest member of the group suffered a stroke on Thurs., Oct. 16

On Thurs., Oct. 14, 78-year-old Baba Ojé, affectionately known as the “oldest man in hip-hop” and spiritual adviser to the group Arrested Development, suffered a stroke and was taken to Atlanta VA Medical Center. While in the hospital doctors discovered what appeared to be a blood clot on his brain. Ojé responded to medication and was released from ICU on Sat., Oct. 16, but is still undergoing tests to determine his condition.

Arrested Development is currently on tour in Europe, but will be back in Atlanta on Oct. 29 to make an appearance on the Kyra Phillips show on CNN.
