Just when you thought Lil B — the rapper who gave a bizarre performance at the Loft back in August — couldn’t get any more insatiable in his hunger for attention, he sinks to a new low.
For the uninitiated, a major part of the controversy surrounding Lil' B has come from the ambiguous statements he makes about his sexuality — still a big taboo in hip-hop. During his Atlanta show, he doffed a tight-fitting pink T-shirt before announcing, “I look fruity, but I like girls.” He is also known to refer to himself as “princess” and “pretty bitch.”
To Mr. West, the Berkeley, Cal. rapper says: “If Kanye West Dosent Acknowledge me Over Twitter and Work With Me on Music, When I see him I’m going to f*ck him in the ass.” [sic]
Hip Hop Wired, reported that the Lil B made a similar threat to Atlanta-based comedian Lil Duval after being ranked third on the comedian’s Twitter trending topic for worst rapper of the decade. B’s remarks to Duval upped the ante, in harshness and grammatical errors: “@lilduval is my new b*tch. ima f*ck his ass later to u f*cking grandson fagit.”
Future tweets from the self-titled “Based God” fail to apologize, but he tweets an explanation of sorts: “and for the record i got love for kanye, and hes a major talent in work... if hes a real rebel like i think he is he understands - Lil B [sic]”
So far, nothing resembling a mea culpa has surfaced for Lil Duval.
If Kanye is proposing a toast to the douchebags and assholes, then he should be sipping in Lil B’s honor now.
UPDATE: LIL B has officially apologized to Kanye West, via Twitter of course, tweeting that his grandma told him to do it.
3 people apparently love handing over an extra 40% in fees for nothing in return…
Dang. I thought they would name some actual headliners.
Forgot to mention that Iggy did a stellar show @ the Agora in the spring…
Their fees were onerous, to say the least. $16 per ticket for "convenience," and it's…
That poster is for the Iggy Pop show on March 11 1983 @ 688 club…
oh sweet: just who i was waiting to get announced!
