The first of what will most likely be many benefits for Billy Fields is happening Fri., Nov. 12 at Apache Cafe with performances by Dionne Farris, Cherri Swan, Newberry Jam, Tommy Martin, and more.

As reported last month:

On Sun., Oct. 3 at around 1 a.m. Fields was robbed at gunpoint in the West End where he was doing sound at a dubstep warehouse party. During the robbery he was shot at nearly point blank range. The bullet passed through his bottom jaw on the right side and exited through his opposite cheek. The bullet took some teeth with it, and caused damage to his tongue, but he is expected to make a full recovery. Continue reading...

That recovery costs a lot of money so all proceeds form the show will go toward paying of Billy's medical bills. The cover is a suggested donation of $10 and the doors open at 9 p.m.

If you are unable to attend, donations can also be made by following the Paypal link:

There's another benefit booked at The Earl on Sat., Nov. 27 with performances from, the El Caminos, Tiger! Tiger!, AM Gold, the Seventh Ring of Saturn, Pink Pompeii and the Fingers. More on that coming soon.
