Tonight Alfred Real benefit at Highland Inn tonight

Tonight (Fri., Nov. 19), the Highland Inn Ballroom is hosting a benefit show for a young man named Alfred Real. He’s only 8 years old and he suffered third-degree burns over about 80% of his body earlier this summer when a can of lighter fluid exploded while he was playing with it. You can read more about all of the medical hang-ups that he’s endured since then at AJC.com. It’s a pretty harrowing read, and he's still on the road to recovery with therapy and rehab.

Bands performing include: Sons of Sons, TrioSaurus (including Carl Haasis of Dread Zeppelin) and the Squirrelheads. DJ and the Bear spin records at midnight.
