Professional Ignorant, the latest mixtape from Atlanta's 4-Ize, is worth sliding in the ride's CD slot, if you can get the speakers to bump louder than the heater blowing. The free download is available from DJBooth.net, and sports more than a few heavy hitting contributors. "Concrete Jungle" features legends De La Soul and hard-working local vet Senor Kaos, and cribs a chorus from Common's "The Corner" while remaining a solid track in it's own right. "Spectacular Vernacular" serves as another standout, with Gucci Mane and 4-Ize trading expert Southern wordplay over a low-slung beat from Morgan the Mexican Garcia.
If the tracks inspire, Apache Cafe is hosting a release party Tuesday December 14th, with 4-Ize supported by mixtape guest artists Senor Kaos and Headcrack. See the flier below for more info.
