Waka Flocka Flame: the new face of PETA

Posted By on Fri, Feb 11, 2011 at 6:49 PM

XXL Magazine reports that Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka — you know, the head-banging, police-evading, walking soundbite — will be joining the new PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) campaign, Ink Not Mink, when it launches in L.A. on Feb. 22. He'll apparently be in good company, too. Other celebs taking a stand for Ink Not Mink include Lady Gaga, Pink, and Mariah Carey.

The best part of this news? Of course, it's Waka's quote:

“Animals should be treated the same as you would a kid. Would you want someone just to walk up and skin your kid? Hell no!”
