Now that's what I call dubstep

If you’ve been wondering what this whole ‘dubstep’ thing that the kids are into is all about, listen up. It’s been the buzzword in electronic music for the past year or so, and Atlanta has a dope dubstep scene, but trying to find a good entry point can be migraine-inducing. With its wobbly bass lines and ultra-low frequencies, it sure as hell isn’t easy listening.

But now Philadelphia-based DJs Dirty South Joe and Flufftronix have made a perfect entry point with their new mix Luvstep 2, their second annual Valentine’s Day mix of some of the best, most accessible dubstep tracks out there right now. The hour-plus mix features over 30 love-tinged tracks from genre heavyweights and rising stars like Magnetic Man, Caspa, and Zeds Dead. If there was a Now That’s What I Call Music! for dubstep, it might as well be this. Last year’s Luvstep mix ended up on more than a few Best of 2010 lists, and you can expect a repeat performance from this year's.

Check out the full tracklist after the jump and educate yourself over at their site.
