The Clan Destined vs. the Ruination show at the Five Spot tonight is looking like one of the more interesting shows of the year. The hip-hop/psychedelic mashup will start with Clan Destined MC DT leading a live performance of his Yes Project mixtape, before transitioning into a full-on Clan D set. From there the show will morph into a performance from experimental jazz/dub act the Ruination. Like the flier says, “One set. No Breaks or down time.” Sounds like a trip.
