Young Orchids need a van

The headline says it all. Young Orchids have been hard at work recording their full-length debut, Afterglow, for nearly two years. Now that they have a release date set for March 25, it’s time to get the f*ck outta Dodge. But since they spent all of their money making the CD and getting their hair did, they don’t have enough left to pay for a tour van. So what’s a bunch of young dudes in a band to do? The answer is simple: Turn to socialism and ask the tenants of the local music scene to contribute to the greater good.

They’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign to buy a van, and all they’re asking for is four large ($4,000).
