Former Soulja Boy mentor Mr. ColliPark’s newest protégé, Translee, may be onto something here. The Huntsville, Ala. native and current Atlanta resident has a fairly mild-mannered southern flow, laced with little hints of wit and charming boyish humor. In a recent interview with HipHopDX, Collpark likened him to a southern version of A Tribe Called Quest. The intro to the video above is obviously inspired by Spike Lee’s Mars Blackmon/Michael Jordan commercials from back in the day.
