On the Download / New Music Small Eyez spits '2 the Sky'

Ohio-reared, Atlanta-based emcee Small Eyez is back with a new ditty, "2 the Sky," just in time for spring (or SXSW). Ever the optimist (hear: "Soul Incredible"), Eyez gets right to it over a Sal Dali-produced track. He's wisely enlisted the talents of crooner Antonio Dye again, whose upbeat, soulful hook attempts to "take us high."
Of course, Small Eyez's strength has always been his lyrical dexterity and enthusiasm on the mic, and it's clear from the way he's spitting on this track that he still feels he has something to prove. Hopefully the energy on display here will transfer to the rest of his upcoming project, due in late spring.
