Death on Two Wheels pulls into the studio for sophomore release

Death on Two Wheels has had the pedal to the metal this year and spent most of their time on the road playing shows around the country, and making appearances at some national festivals. They even hopped on board The Rock Boat for a bit. But now it's time for the band to pull over the tour van long enough to write and record some new songs. “Yes, there will be a new Death record this year,” says vocalist/guitarist Trae Vedder. “We're pretty amped just to be able to say that. I have no clue when it's going be released, but I can tell you that we'll be recording it in June, and so far it's looking like a pretty rabid rock and roll record.”

In the meantime, check out the new video for “Calling Us All Back Home” from their 2008 debut, Separation of Church and Fate. The video was shot by JBTV, a Chicago public access television program, whose studio crew have become part of the Death on Two Wheels family. The video was shot in the freight elevator of the JBTV studio and captures the gritty nature of the band’s live presence.
