Somewhere between touring and recording and gathering loads of positive press, Carnivores squeezed in a November visit to Daytrotter’s studio in Rock Island, Illinois, and the mp3 pushers dropped the four-song session just today.

The session features a few cuts from the quartet’s most recent LP, If I’m Ancient, plus “German Flower” and “Dressed for the Rain,” a track from the U.K. 7-inch on which the group teamed with Brooklyn’s Dinosaur Feathers (you know, the Jarvis Cocker-approved tune).

Check out Carnivores' Daytrotter session.

Typical Daytrotter....only posts sessions by Chad's friend's bands.

Jake, you need to step up your trolling. You're getting stale!

Daytrotter is in Illinois. I love how everything posted on Crib Notes is automatically from "one of Chad's friend's bands." Clearly, this argument still holds water for Jake. TROLL!
