After plenty of show and song collaborations, Atlanta-based emcees 4-IZE and Señor Kaos have finally decided to make it official and form a duo they call Ultra Beast.
"We recorded one song for my project, Illuminated Animals," 4-IZE explains. "Next thing you know, we had four records finished for the project. We started rocking shows together and recording more music which led to this current project. It was only a matter of time before Ultra Beast was unleashed."
Their as-yet-untitled debut will be produced by New York production duo the Beatminerz and is scheduled to drop later this summer, and their first single — the mellow, lyrical "Wind is High" — is produced by New York production duo Da Beatminerz.
Meanwhile, fans of Ize and Kaos can catch them at their first official show on May 28 at the Five Spot, along with Cunninlynguists and Homeboy Sandman.
