Sleepy Brown turns up the humidity on 'You're My Lady'

Ah shit. Sleepy Brown done moved to L.A. and fell in love. Or, at least it sounds like it.

Back with a new jam, "You're My Lady," the Organized Noize co-founder croons about "the most beautiful girl laying next to me" over raw, electric guitar licks and stripped-down drums, and it, well, it sounds like making slow, sweaty love on a humid summer day.

Ahem.

Sleepy, who has been in L.A. for the past five years, admits that the song was actually "based on a girl that he was dating in L.A. at the time."

Now splitting his time between L.A. and Atlanta, Sleepy's making "You're My Lady" the first leak off of his upcoming album, Sex, Drugs and Soul, which is set to be released this fall on his new label, 13 Black Records.
