In case you haven’t heard, Sorry No Ferrari’s show at 529 tonight will be their last stand. After bassist Drew Mobley quit a few months back, the group just hasn’t been able to get back on track. So after tonight the group’s members are going their separate ways.

?
Guitarist Chad Shivers is kicking around the idea of starting a surf band, while guitarist Brett Kelly is preparing to dive into a new and quite grand-sounding Tealights album. “After graduating I’ve found that composing for other musicians is much more fulfilling, says Kelly. “That being said, Mikey Johnson and I are in the midst of a new Tealights record that is being written for full orchestra.”

?
The new album is based on a collection of African folklores that haven’t ever been properly translated into English. A writer is currently condensing the stories into lyrics. More info. on that coming soon. Tonight, bid farewell to a band that’s been an ATL progressive instrumental rock institution since 2004.
