Jojo Flores at Tambor, and other places to dance and party this weekend

If you feel like dancing this weekend, you've got plenty of opportunity.

Tonight — or technically, early Saturday a.m. — check out The World! with DJ Harry Chronic spinning soul, house and other make-you-dance classics. The premier was last week, so organizers Cardio and Urban Field Operatives are eager to hit it again. $10 (includes bevs). Midnight. 830 Warner St. Get detailed directions on the Facebook event page.

Next up, Tambor welcomes DJ Jojo Flores, CEO of Gotsoul Records. Business aside, Flores has been in the game for more than 25 years, with residencies in key clubs such as NYC's Cielo, Nikki Beach in Miami, and Deep in Los Angeles. Residents Stan Zeff and DJ BE kick things off, and for those who attended last month's event, no fear: Air-conditioning will be in full effect, as the dancing will be done in the main 595 North event space. $5 discount to all my fellow Geminis. $10-$20. 10 p.m. 595 North Ave. 770-884-1594.

Keep the party going on Saturday with Late Night Sessions, which doesn't even start till 11:30. Some of Atlanta's finest house DJs will be spinning into the wee hours, including DJ Yusef and Mike Zarin. Check out the Facebook event page for the full line-up. Free-$5. 11:30 p.m. 486 Decatur St., Suite 14.

And of course, I'd be remiss to not mention Creative Loafing's own party on Saturday to celebrate the Music Issue at MJQ Concourse. Who knows what the cover will be, but with DJs Black Sunshine and Skooter on deck, it's sure to be good time. 11 p.m. 736 Ponce de Leon Place.
