Psychedelic metal band MonstrO announced the release of its first single, “Anchors Up!” from its forthcoming debut record produced by Alice In Chains frontman William DuVall. If this single is any indication, the self-titled album, out on Vagrant Records September 6, looks to be a sprawlingly heavy odyssey, filled with equal parts Mastodon and Black Sabbath.
