Lets talk about drugs and do drugs and regret doing drugs and do more drugs.
  • Let's talk about drugs and do drugs and regret doing drugs and do more drugs.
>> Amy Winehouse died this weekend. She was 27. Sad, terrible, tragic news for sure but also, not surprising. (But also, not funny, Huffington Post UK) She got famous and made a fortune off a great song that taunted addiction. But addiction laughs last. Actually, no. Addiction doesn't laugh at all because addiction doesn't give a fuck. Nice work, Winehouse handlers, managers, ex-husbands, record labels and enablers. Again, SAD, but I'm glad there won't be any new YouTube videos of her taking people's money and then falling down on stage. We'll always have her music. Let's concentrate on that. R.I.P. Amy Winehouse.

>> Of course Katy Perry is Smurfette.

>> Jay-Z and Kanye West announce Watch The Throne tourdates. Philips Arena here we come.

>> Noel Gallagher releases "The Death of You and Me."

>> Stereogum is losing editor Brandon Stosuy to Pitchfork.

>> Sasha Frere-Jones exjamines the ever-jamming My Morning Jacket.

>> R.E.M. do unplugged version of "(Don't Go Back To) Rockville" on someone's bed? in 1980-what? 6? 7? Dig that TWANG, y'all.

>> Before JT had his "Dick in a Box," there was "Cry For You (featuring Hey Girl, Ryan Gosling)."

>> Video of Bon Iver covering Bjork's "Who Is It" live in concert.

>> Finn act Burning Hearts provides the mpfree of the day: "Into The Wilderness."

>> The best four minutes of Mariah Carey’s insane HSN appearance.

>> Fluxblog gets to the heart of “Zooropa.”

>> Lil Wayne is no longer a weirdo?

>> The Shakes' "You Ain't Alone" is a good song to listen to if you're feeling blue about Amy Winehouse.

>> Lauryn Hill has given birth six times!
