Celebrate George Jones’ 80th birthday at Star Bar
The show doubles as a benefit for the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta
Once again there are a million and one things to do tonight. If you’re not hitting up the Black Lips show at Southern Comfort, or the A.Grimes, Husseins et. al. show at the Cut, there’s 80th birthday tribute for country music legend George Jones going on at the Star Bar. The show doubles as a benefit for the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta (DSAA), and George and Nancy Jones have donated all sorts of memorabilia to be raffled off for the cause. Slim Chance & the Convicts, Somoramic Commando, the Serenaders and more are all scheduled to perform.
