Duet for Theremin and Lap Steel join Robbie Land for Art on the Beltine

Posted By on Fri, Sep 23, 2011 at 10:02 AM

Normally we wouldn’t recommend hanging out under the Park Drive bridge at Piedmont Park on a Friday night, but tonight is an exception. Duet For Theremin and Lap Steel are playing a free show of their spectral drones and secret harmonies, set to the visuals of local experimental filmmaker Robbie Land at 8 p.m.

The performance is part of the on-going Art on the Beltline series, and the bridge’s underpass is accessible from the rear parking lot of the Amsterdam Walk on Amsterdam Ave. There will be signs pointing the way to the performance space, and the path along the decommisioned train tracks along the way be will be lit.
