VIDEO Qurious gets otherworldly with 'Another Language'

The dynamic duo of Catherine Quesenberry and Mike Netland, aka Qurious, who won CL's 2011 "Best Ambient Composers" award, released a video for "Another Language" today.

As is usually the case with these two, the video is a gorgeously abstract scene that takes the viewer on a stroll through the woods, as seen through the eyes of an alien visitor.

Naturally it's an extension of the twisted up travelogue that's so subtly woven into their 2010 release Planet Plant, carried over to a visual realm.

Qurious, Awesome New Republic and Featureless Ghost play the Drunken Unicorn on Mon., Sept. 26. $6-$8. 9 p.m. 736 Ponce de Leon Place.
