On Friday, October 14, the venerable space-funk large ensemble Noot d' Noot will play its 100th show at the Star Bar with long-standing compatriots Judi Chicago and the Back Pockets. The show is also part of the Star Bar's 20th anniversary series that's going on throughout the month of October.

It's also important to note here that Judi Chicago's Kid Pyramid (a.k.a. Ben Coleman) has joined ranks with the Noots as a full-time member and this is one of his first full sets with the group here on in their hometown.

$10. 9 p.m. Star Bar, 437 Moreland Ave. 404-681-9018.

This beautiful flyer was designed by Anna Vernon in East London, by the way. Hit up Judi or Noot on Facebook if you want her to do something equally wonderful for your band or whatever and we'll put you in touch.
