He sat on the couch yesterday with Whoopi, Elisabeth, Sherri and Barb as they discussed his life post-prison, how he plans to stay clean and sober and out of the big house, and what he did to occupy his time during his last 11 month sentence. He was also promoting his new novel, Power & Beauty: A Love Story of Life on the Streets, co-written with noted music autobiographer David Ritz. Writing his own autobio at this point would've been too predictable, T.I. said, so he chose to go a different route with Ritz.
No talk about the bathroom prison fight he got in during his recent incarceration. But at one point, Whoopi leaned over to ask if he's retiring because she said she'd heard rumors. Really? She obviously hasn't heard the radio lately or she'd know how focused he's been on commandeering hits.
His latest featured appearance comes by way of producer Pharrell, who also raps on the track titled "Hear Ye, Hear Ye." It's by far the most revealing of the five songs/remixes he's released thus far. He talks about his fall from grace and the burden he felt with the weight of the world on his shoulders. It's the kind of genuine, heartfelt stuff that's been missing among all the braggadocio he's been filling tracks with lately.
"Hear Ye, Hear Ye"
"Still baffled how my life unraveled/in the meantime, time just traveled," he raps. But he also drops a line that suggests that putting all of his business on front street in an autobiography may have been tantamount to dry-snitching: "I coulda caught a body/sold a book to somebody/who volunteered my information to the federalis."
Not even four accommodating ladies on a couch could scoop that kinda info out of him.
ooooohhhh, I'm so excited!! I can't wait to see them together!

Yes, 14 is the correct answer. I'll pass your info along to the group's manager,…
That was January of 2007, and they are 21 now, so I'm guessing 14?
