The Wheeler Boys lead the "Save Criminal" charge at Masquerade

Posted By on Wed, Oct 19, 2011 at 10:40 AM

There's another "Save Criminal Records" benefit going on tonight at Masquerade and it features one of the more interesting lineups to come down the pike in this scattered and on-going series of fundraisers. The Wheeler Boys headline the bill, which is rounded out by fellow hip-hop act Mighty High Coup, alt./roots/folk duo Pocket The Moon, atmospheric alt. rockers Calm White Noise and a DJ set that comes courtesy of Deku.

All proceeds from the show will be donated to Criminal, and to sweeten the deal there's going to be a couple of free kegs of PBR in the house, which seems to be the great unifier of the night; that and saving the record store.

It's all happening in Purgatory, so don't get it twisted and take a wrong turn into Hell where you'll find the Rapture. Couldn't have made that up, folks!

$8. Doors open at 7 p.m. Music starts at 8 p.m. Masquerade. 695 North Ave. 404-577-8178.
