Axl Rose brought his latest incarnation of Guns N' Roses to Philips Arena Wednesday night. His last time in Atlanta in 1987 led to his arrest at the old Omni. In typical Axl fashion he didn't take the stage until 11 pm but those who did attend ( only the floor and lower bowl of the arena were full) were treated to 3 hours and over 30 songs of classic Guns N' Roses. Guitarists Ron "Bumblefoot " Thai, DJ Ashba and Richard Forthus did a respectable job of filling in for Slash and Axl showed why he is one of the best frontmen in rock ’n' roll.
