Waylon Jennings’ grandson Struggle is an ‘Outlaw,’ too

Atlanta-based Yelawolf offers up his Bama croon in the name of outlaw s#!t

?
When Nashville spitter Struggle credits Waylon Jennings as a featured artist on his track “Outlaw Shit,” it’s a lot different than Kanye and Jay including dead soul men Otis Redding and Curtis Mayfield as “featured artists” on respective Watch the Throne cuts “Otis” and “The Joy.”

?
That’s because the man in the black hat is more than a sample-worthy deceased country legend to Struggle; Waylon Jennings is his grandfather. And with this hard-luck story of a song — which samples Jennings’ classic “Outlaw Shit” and also features alive-and-well Atlanta MC Yelawolf — Struggle bears more than a little family resemblance.
