Numero Group DJs set Atlanta ablaze, again

The Yankees are coming and they've made no bones about their plans to lay waste to 529 on Wed., Nov. 16 when DJs Rob Sevier and Ken Shipley, two co-woners of Chicago's Number Group, spin a grip of rare, old school Northern soul 45s. … And yes, they’ll have a ton of goods for sale in the Numero Group pop-up store.

DJ Brian Poust, better known around these parts as Agent 45, and the principle scribe behind the Georgia Soul Recordings blog brings it all back home with a set of classic Southern joints.

Okay so maybe the whole North vs. South thing won't be played up quite as much as this video lets on. The bottom line here is that a handful world class DJs are going to be in the building spinning choice, old school soul and rare grooves while throwing one helluva party.

Free. 9 p.m. 529. 529 Flat Shoals Ave. 404-228-6769.
