Big Boi hard at work on Daddy Fat Saxxx

Do you follow Big Boi on Twitter? You should, if only for his preponderance of #yups and #weoutcheas. Also, you might learn a thing or two. Like, for instance, the fact that he's currently holed up at Stankonia working on the follow-up to Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, and that he's got a couple pretty surprising guest stars in there with him.

Early yesterday morning, Big sent out a flurry of tweets about an all-night studio session, which included the juicy nuggets that among the (presumably myriad) collaborators for Daddy Fat Saxxx are Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter from moody electro outfit Phantogram (whoa!) and O4W upstart Pill, who recently signed to Rick Ross' formidable Maybach Music imprint. He also revealed that the motley crew participated in a bit of early morning imbibing, which, who could blame them? Four Loko is basically orange juice mixed with coffee, right?

Today, another remix of Atlanta rapper Future's "Ain't No Way Around It" hit the internet, this one featuring a guest spot from Mr. Patton himself. Enjoy via Global 14.

No word yet on when to expect Daddy Fat Saxxx - hopefully it'll be a much shorter waiting period than the shitstorm that surrounded Sir Lucious Left Foot.

Excellent news. "Aint No Way Around It" blows, even with a nice verse from Sir L, but I'm ready for that next album...
