Mirror Mode, the mostly electronic pop duo featuring Dan Wakefield (ex-Abby Go Go, Ominous Castle, et al) and Allen Taylor (Feast of Violet) are playing an EP pre-release party tonight (Tues., Nov. 22) at 529. It’s a “pre” release party because technically the Veils EP won’t be released until next Tuesday via Double Phantom Digital. But for those of us who still reside in the real world, they’ll have CDRs for sale tonight at the show. Until then, check out one new jam that they’ve released via SoundCloud titled “Bring Me the Sun.”

Balkans’ singer and guitarist Frankie Broyles unveils his Time to Die solo project tonight as well.

Time To Die is largely the product of Broyles with a guitar and a sampler. However, the backing band for tonight’s show will feature Bradford Cox and Lockett Pundt of Deerhunter performing as a trio.

The Double Phantom DJs will be on hand to kick out some jams as well.
