It ain't Christmastime till the best-releases-of-the-year lists start pouring in. Spin jump-starts it with a 2011 year-end mixtape list. Atlanta's well-repped: 2 Chainz's Codeine Cowboy gets the No. 1 a spot. And my vote for best instrumental album of the year, DJ Burn One's The Ashtray holds down No. 15 is listed. Local yokels Alley Boy, Rittz, Soulja Boy, Travis Porter, and Trouble all get love, too.
The best part: You don't have to #OccupyNorthPole to own these joints. The Internet is free.
Correction: As the commenter below pointed out, the list is alphabetical, not numbered in priority.
