The Chameleons return to Atlanta ... er Buckhead

Posted by Chad Radford on Wed, Nov 30, 2011 at 11:04 AM

Now touring under the name “the Chameleons vox UK,” Manchester’s wintry and iconic post-punk/atmospheric pop legend the Chameleons play The Shelter tonight (Wed., Nov. 30) in Buckhead.

For tonight’s show the lineup will feature frontman and principle songwriter Mark Burgess performing with Chameleon’s drummer John Lever, long-time collaborator Neil Dwerryhouse (guitar) — who played on Burgess’ ’94 solo album Sons of God — and Ray Bowles (bass).

Black Lodge and Black Swan Lane open the show.

$12. 9 p.m. The Shelter, 2101 Tula St. 678-694-SHELTER.
