Low and behold two of the stories that made the list were pulled straight from the pages of Creative Loafing.
First up, Gabe Vodicka received a shout-out for his spot-on review of T.I.’s No Mercy, titled "Why the Caged King Sings" (Dec. 13).
Music Editor Rodney Carmichael also gets props for his exhaustively researched track-by-track oral history on "The Making of OutKast's Aquemini" from CL’s 2010 music issue (June 24).
Not too shabby at all, fellas. Congratulations.

They should give an award to whoever gets Sorry No Ferrari to get back together and play a fucking show. Shit just fucking let me know there is some kind of a fucking mathrock or post rock show. Or something that kind of fucking rocks without vocals. All its been lately is hip hop, garage, cousin dan, and fucking mastadon. I mean I am happy for Gabe Vodicka and all but could he fucking write an award winning piece on the purkinje shift reunion already? Huh?
