CoCo Art returns with Roam for the Holidaze 3 comp.

Think of it as a greeting card signed by the entire CCA collective from near and far

Image ‘Tis the season for seasonal things, and this Christmas day the third installment of Coco Art’s annual Roam for the Holidaze compilation was born.

?
Much like the previous two editions, number three brings a smattering of mostly (but not entirely) Omaha, Nebr. and Atlanta-based artists, curated by David Matysiak of local acts Hollow Stars and Coyote Bones. Aside from the obvious holiday angle there isn’t much of a theme behind this year’s collection, other than it being a hodgepodge of artifacts that Matysiak’s friends and acquaintances have been working on throughout the year. With such a broad assortment of artists tackling the holiday spirit, it’s a bit all over the place, but there’s plenty of music here to throw at the holiday highs and lows as the new year approaches. Think of it a greeting card signed by the entire Coco Art collective, near and far.

?
Standout cuts this year: Hollow Stars’ “Ill Omen,” Oh Dorian’s “Deep,” Lotus Plaza’s “Christmas In Whosbekistanstanstan” and Icky Blossoms’ “Temporary Freakout”
