Doldrums has canceled but the show is still on

Posted by Chad Radford on Tue, Jan 10, 2012 at 3:14 PM

It looks like Doldrums has canceled its US tour because Airick Woodhead's immigration papers were filed improperly. According to the show’s promoter Brannon Boyle of Speakeasy Promotion, an e-mail from Doldrums’ management states, “There was a complication with Airick's immigration paperwork, and the paperwork has not come thru in time, despite best efforts."

For tonight’s show at 529, Dillon and Boog are headlining, following a set by Rekchampa (in the middle), and the live debut of a brand new group called Nung River featuring Cloudeater drummer Chris Hunt, and vocalist Sam Dew.

Free. 9 p.m. 529, 529 Flat Shoals Ave. 404-228-6769.
