Win tix to Steve Aoki at the Tabernacle, Thurs., Feb. 9

Posted by Rodney Carmichael on Wed, Feb 8, 2012 at 1:06 PM

International party starter and Dim Mak Records founder Steve Aoki released his new album Wonderland last month, and this Thursday, Feb. 9, he's bringing his EDM romp to Atlanta.

We've got a pair of tickets to tomorrow's show for the first commenter who can identify 1) the sound inspiration behind "Steve Jobs," the song he dedicates to the deceased Apple founder on his new album, and 2) the name of the producer he collaborated with on the song. Be the first to answer both questions correctly and the tickets are yours.

The Deadmeat Tour: Steve Aoki & Datsik, with Alvin Risk. $25. 8 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 9. The Tabernacle, 152 Luckie St. 404-659-9022. www.tabernacleatl.com.

The inspiration is from the 80s as that was the song's former name. And the song is featuring Angger Dimas...?

**in an interview: 1)A: "Well, it's like an Atari kind of Nintendo 8-bit-inspired track, a technology track to me, like video games, computers. And Steve Jobs was the man, especially in that world."

2) Angger Dimas
