Live Review Scenes from Boog Brown's 'dirty 30' birthday bash

Somebody in here, it’s your birthday! Atlanta M.C. Boog Brown hosted her “dirty 30” birthday party pajama jam at 529 last night (Thurs., Feb. 9). Sometimes rappers take themselves pretty seriously, so the whole idea behind dressing down a bit for the show was to remove the edge — anti-swag, if you will — although Boog did get pretty fancied up for the occasion, as you can see here.
In the midst of a bill with fellow locals Dillon and DJs J-Live and AmDex, Washington, D.C., rapper yU of Diamond District, along with DJ Dirty Ice and Charlie Ross pretty much stole the show … in their PJs.
