Watch Aleon Craft, Grip, and Tuki run a train on 'My Girlfriend'

Ain't it interesting how the sexual personification of drugs tends to break down along socially acceptable lines? Mary Jane, Molly, even that slick white girl are all feminine and sweet as hell. But if you're shooting boy or sucking on that glass dick, you're messing with some hypermasculine, forbidden shit. Atlanta chain smokers Aleon Craft, Grip, and Tuki contribute one more to the purple pantheon of weed anthems with the new video for "My Girlfriend." It's an all-around A-Town project with visuals for the SMKA-produced ode directed by local artist/designer Chilly-O. As for the lineup on this lyrical gang-bang, Aleon "whore[s] her out," and Grip does "push-ups in her throat," while Tuki Carter — gentleman that he is — shows her some much-needed "public affection" while dodging the "department of corrections." Yep, it's all love ’round these parts.

Speaking of brotherly love, the producer behind "My Girlfriend" — 808 Blake of SMKA — celebrates his birthday with Atlanta and a stellar cast of co-conspirators tonight: Jarren Benton, Aleon Craft, BOSCO, INDEED, Jack of Hearts, Dreamer, Stanza, Gun Party. With DJ Speakerfoxx. $5. 8:30 p.m. Wed., March 7. Smith's Olde Bar, 1578 Piedmont Ave. 404-875-1522. www.smithsoldebar.com. No guest list at the door, so don't come looking for the hook-up, even if you count yourself among the 150+ artists 808 Blake's produced for in the last three years.
