It’s been four years since Longplay, Vol. 2, the last recorded output from Athens post-rock dudes Pacific UV. A couple months back the group finally released the follow-up in Weekends, an album that pays equal attention to the enveloping keyboard drone the group is known for and a newish strain of Kraftwerk-inspired electro-pop (see single “Funny Girl” for a taste).

Tonight, the group makes a rare live appearance at the Drunken Unicorn alongside locals Calm White Noise, who are themselves celebrating the release of a brand new EP. Get your side-to-side sway on!
