This Saturday (April 21) former Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart will be paying a visit to Wax'n'Facts Records in honor of Record Store Day 2012.
Hart's appearance is scheduled as a meet-and-greet, and he'll will be signing stuff for sure, but there are no definite plans for a musical performance. However, management says “If the spirit moves him," he might just play some music. But again, there's no definite plans for a performance. However, there will be a handful of other musicians stopping by the store to play throughout the day as well, and so far the schedule looks this (times may be subject to change):
Mickey Hart — 2 p.m.
Kenneth (REM guitarist Peter Buck’s brother) and Melissa Mason Buck — 3 p.m.
Bradford Cox of Deerhunter/Atlas Sound — 4 p.m.
Jeffrey Bützer — 5 p.m.
Chiedza — 6 p.m.
***There may be a few other performances later in the day as well. Also, the store will be open at 10 a.m. for all of you early birds.
