During a press conference held at the Greystone building in Piedmont Park tonight (April 24), Live Nation Atlanta President and Music Midtown co-founder Peter Conlon announced that Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters will headline Music Midtown this year, which is taking place the weekend of Sept. 21-22

Other acts performing this year include Avett Brothers, Florence & the Machine, T.I., Ludacris, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Girl Talk, Civil Twilight, Van Hunt, O'Brother, and LP.

That's a whole lot better than Coldplay, right? It's all happening in Piedmont Park again this year, and tickets are $55 for one day/$100 for both days at the moment, but they will soon go up to $65/$120 sometime in the future. Tickets go on sale this Saturday (April 28) at 10 a.m.

There's also a VIP ticket for $250, and a Super VIP ticket that will set you back a cool $1,000.
