Music news Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys has died

It's a sad day indeed. Both TMZ and Pitchfork have reported that Adam Yauch, aka MCA of the Beastie Boys, has died due to a battle with cancer. He was 47 years old.
Yauch announced in 2009 that he had been diagnosed with a form of cancer in his parotid gland and a lymph node , which resulted in several canceled tour dates and the delay of the Beastie Boys' album, Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 1.
