ONE MusicFest producer J. Carter has just announced Santigold will be a headliner at the third annual festival on Labor Day weekend, Sat., Sept. 1.

It'll mark the first third* Atlanta performance for Santigold, whose future-pop sophomore album Master of My Make-Believe dropped in April.

"Santigold embodies the essence of ONE Musicfest - music without borders," says J. Carter, producer of ONE Musicfest. "ONE Musicfest embraces all genres of music and walks of life and Santi's music speaks to this. We are honored to be the home of her first ever Atlanta performance."

No word yet on the rest of the festival's 2012 lineup. But if organizers stay true to form, it'll be a genre-bending mix of progressive hip-hop, soul, and electro acts, such as past performers like Common, De La Soul, Chrisette Michele, the Pharcyde, and the Foreign Exhange.

Purchase tickets at onemusicfest.com.

*Ed. note: An earlier version of this post failed to account for Santigold's past Atlanta performances. Thanks, Good Witch, for the correction. One would think I'd remember her '07 performance since I was at that Bjork show. Duhhh
