Music news ATL Zine Library benefit/Sriracha House show tonight

What they’re organizing is the first of what is planned to be will be an annual underground zine/press conference that will foster critical discourse about the media and counterculture, and will include panelists, featured speakers, workshops, and vendors. It is essentially a celebration of handmade media and DIY modes of expression, and how they've evolved to co-exist with Internet.
"It seems like there's a love affair with printed matter going on these days," Mills says. "There's an important convergence between the Internet and zines. Most print zines also have blogs as well — they can and do exist in a symbiotic relationship."

Sriracha House. 1865 Winthrop Drive in East Atlanta. $3 (suggested donation), and the music starts up around 9 p.m.
