The weekend flies by, and before you know it, you're packing up and coming home. This is the fifth year I've been to Bonnaroo. Road trip. Driving overnight to be there at 8 a.m., sleeping in the van, walking forever, lots of people, no shower for days, sometimes it rains, other times it's a dust storm, port-a-Johns. This year the weather was the best I think it's ever been. On Sunday, we got a little shower during the afternoon but the heavy part waited until Phish closed out the weekend. Whatever that year brings, Bonnaroo is always fun. You meet interesting people. The music is good, and if not, somewhere else it is. The best thing about this year was that I was able to camp so close to Centeroo. Some of my favorite performances over this weekend were Phish, Yela Wolf, Radiohead, Gary Clark Jr., Dub Cartel, Skrillix, Alabama Shakes, Trampled by Turtles, GZA, and Super Jam.
