Sean Falyon's 'Mouthful of Lies' video will hypnotize hearts and minds

Sean Falyon's well-known slogan "Sean Falyon Be Everywhere" takes on another dimension — perhaps the fifth — with his new video for the first single from upcoming album SFBE III: Do Me No Favors. On "Mouthful of Lies," he literally gets inside viewers' heads with a visual treatment, executed by Matt Swinsky and Bobby Finch, that takes a more sutle approach than the trippy videos that have been trending lately. Think less seizure-inducing, more hypnotic. It syncs up well with a tweaked-out, soul throbbing LeeJohn Productions track that finds Falyon in vengeance-is-mine mode:

"Fuck these critics criticizing how I write and deliver it/you wanna form an opinion n#%%a ask me for permission."

Ouch. Duly noted. It's also worth noting that Falyon's flow has grown stronger since his early reliance on hyper-animated vocalizations have given way to a delivery that now makes the most of his naturally booming vocal tone. He talks a bit about finding himself and honing his sound over the course of the last two years (SFBE I, SFBE II) — along with further cementing his independent grind — in a recent sit-down video with Source TV below the jump:

Red Cup Party w/Playboy Tre and Sean Falyon. $10. 9 p.m. Tues., July 10. Smith's Olde Bar, 1578 Piedmont Ave. 404-875-1522.
